Who We Are

So who are we… well to tell you the truth we’re still discovering that. Mission Christ
is a community of young people around Ann Arbor, Michigan who are trying
to We’re not
really a church in the traditional sense. Most of our members worship
at other churches on Sunday, Saturday, or whenever church is for them.
What we try to do here at Mission Christ is offer avenues in which people
who really want to explore what a life following Jesus is all about.
At Mission Christ we have also had a strong feeling that being a follower of Jesus means that we need to love our neighbors. In the world around us there are so many people who need to be loved. So, at Mission Christ, we are continually looking at what we have and trying to determine what God has called us do with it in order to serve the community around us, and the world at large. what it means to follow Jesus. We're not perfect, and we don't have
it all together yet, but we believe that Jesus has invited us to follow
him, and we believe that following Jesus is the best way to live. We
all come from different backgrounds some of us are Lutherans, while
others Catholics. Some are Mennonites, others are Baptists, others prefer
to just be called Christians, and some aren't even sure they want to
be called that.
